Carpenter to face the court for teen’s death
A 32-year-old carpenter has been charged with the May 17 murder of 16-year-old Norville Hall, of 2nd Street in Kingston. He is Jessie Jackson, otherwise called 'Little Rick', of Victoria Town in Kingston.
Hall, who wanted to join the Jamaica Defence Force, had made a promise to his late mother, Damone Roberts, who was killed on his birthday in 2014, that he was going to make her proud by becoming a solider.
Norville fell at the exact spot where his mother did when she was stabbed to death years ago.
Police said that Jackson was charged last Friday with murder and conspiracy to murder after he was pointed out during an identification parade. His court date is being finalised.
